- Objectives
Through the recognition of the SMT industry engineers who has done outstanding contributions to the SMT industry in the South China region, drive the engineers of the South China region to actively participate in the SMT industry and to promote the development of the SMT industry in South China.
- Selection
Integrate the experts' selection and the online voting. According to the voting results and the expert assessment it will produce four winners, namely outstanding engineers of SMT China, NEPCON South China: one 2008 best engineer and three outstanding engineers.
- Awards and prize-giving
Awards: a laptop computer, and a trophy cup for each winner
Prize-giving: the Awards Presentation Ceremony will be held on August 29 at NEPCON South China 2008 (Venue: Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center).
- Candidates
Registration: any engineer engaged in the SMT industry can register; any company engaged in the SMT industry can recommend candidates; registration or recommendation of candidates through NEPCON or SMT China.
All registrations will require the first instance by the judges and then become candidates.
- The report of the selection results
The winners and their curriculum vitae and a list of their companies as well as their work performance will be published in the special issue of Business Conditions of SMT China and on the websites of SMT China, SMT Home and NEPCON.
The names of Experts Appraisal Committee members and their curriculum vitae will also be published in the special issue of Business Conditions of SMT China and on the websites of SMT China, SMT Home and NEPCON.
- Qualifications of the candidates
College graduates with relative major, and more than three years' work experience in the SMT industry.
Good professional ethics.
Making outstanding achievements and significant contributions to the company.
- Candidates shall provide the following materials
Resume, photo of electronic version, educational background (copies of degree certificates; previous 1982 college graduates to provide copies of diploma) and the qualification of work experience;
A recommendation letter of your company or the headers of your department;
Materials of the work performance: the contributions in solving the problems in the production of SMT; the way and the effectiveness in solving the problems; word number: 300 Chinese words (the winners will be published on the SMT China Business magazine);
Other supporting documents: relevant certificates and award certifications.
